- Those 6AN fittings are made from 6061-T6 Aluminum with hard-anodized black coatings.Our one-piece fittings are "mandrel-bent" from a single piece of aluminum rather than being two pieces brazed together. One-piece fittings have better flow and fewer leak points.
- The flexible 20FT nylon hose is made of CPE rubber inner, with a layer of 304 steel wire and nylon outer braid. 20 feet is usually enough for a full "feed" line from the tank to the rail on most coupes and sedans.CPE hoses can use "cutter-style" or "compression-style" fittings.You simply push the hose into the socket and screw the nipple in. The nipple "cuts" into the rubber to create a high-pressure seal.
- Engineered to handle working pressures up to 500 PSI and burst pressures of 2000 PSI. Temperature range: -40°F to 300°F (-40°C to 150°C). - When assembling lines, use a drop of oil on the threads and the "nipple" of the fitting before assembly. This prevents the rubber from tearing and ensures a smooth seal. Also, use aluminium AN wrenches if possible.
